Feasibility study for the Change of the Surface Irrigation to New Methods Irrigation in the Karkhe & Karoun Basins Irrigation and Drainage Minor Networks
Narrative Description of Project
In this study is investigated change of the irrigation methods in among Karkhe & Karoun basin irrigation & drainage networks in the Khouzestan & Ilam provinces. The coverage area of irrigation & drainage networks is about 51130 ha. The objective of study is using optimum from water resources with the change of irrigation methods (such as, pressurized & Low pressure).
The area of location is included 7 plains in the names of Dashte abbas, Evan, Dosalogh, Arayez, Azadegan, Chamran & Abufazel-Salamat.

In order to evaluation of irrigation methods in the studied area is used Multiple Criteria Decision Making (MCDM). Criteria & sub criteria are selected based on disciplines such as Soil, Agriculture, Social, Irrigation, Drainage & Economic conditions. Criteria & sub criteria are presented in the following table:
